The First 44.7 is a well-balanced cruiser-racer with a strong all-around performance. It achieves a solid 6.8 knots upwind in 10 knots of wind and can reach up to 10.3 knots in stronger conditions. Equipped with a large symmetric spinnaker, it excels downwind, making it competitive across various points of sail. The jib is compact relative to the mainsail, designed for effective upwind performance.
