It reaches a comfortable 6.6 knots upwind in 10 knots of wind, making it a reliable companion for cruising. Downwind, the absence of a spinnaker limits its speed to 5.5 knots in the same wind conditions. The sail setup features a large genoa compared to the mainsail, providing ample power for upwind sailing but less so on downwind courses.
